Where to Find Twilight Snapper in V Rising

The Twilight Snapper is a rare fish in V Rising. It can be caught fishing and also more rarely found in some chests. The Twilight Snapper can be caught in any fishing node during both day and night. We managed to catch multiple snappers fishing at night in the Dunley Farmlands. The Dunley farmlands are filled with human villages surrounded by lakes. You can easily sneak onto a dock and fish the nodes off of them.

How to Catch a Twilight Snapper in V Rising

The fishing mini-game in V Rising is very simple. All that you will need to get started is a fishing pole.

You can craft a fishing pole at the Woodworking bench for:

  • x8 Plank
  • x4 Coarse Thread
  • x4 Copper Ingot

Once you have your fishing pole, you can equip it into one of your hotbar slots and pull it out the same as a weapon.

Next, you have to find a fishing spot. In V Rising, you can’t just fish anywhere you find water. You will only be able to cast your fishing pole on fishing nodes. These nodes will spawn randomly on different bodies of water and will look like some burling water with fish swimming in it.

Once you spot one, equip your fishing pole and click on the fishing node. You will only have one chance to catch the fish. Once the mini-game starts, the fishing node will begin pulsing. Eventually, you will hear a loud notification, and there will be a wave around the node. Click as soon as this notification happens, and you will immediately catch a fish. If you click too early or too late, you will lose the fish, and the node will disappear.
