The easiest way to get into someone’s castle, aside from walking through the front gate, is probably just blowing it up. In Vardoran, the world in V Rising, players participating in PvP might eventually want to raid another player’s castle. You’ll want a hefty supply of explosives to have a successful raid. If you haven’t gotten to this part in the game yet, here’s how to make explosives in V Rising, so when the time comes, you’ve got the good stuff stockpiled.
How to Make Explosives in V Rising
To make explosives in V Rising, you need to unlock the recipes by eliminating specific V Blood carriers and then craft them at an Alchemy Table. The Major Explosive Box is unlocked by drinking Jade the Vampire Hunter’s blood, and the Minor Explosive Box is unlocked by drinking Clive the Firestarter’s blood.
Clive the Firestarter is a level 30 V Blood carrier that rewards you with two recipes: Sulphur and Minor Explosive Box. Clive also gives you the ability to build an Alchemy Table structure, an essential structure for your castle. You can find Clive over at the Bandit Sulphur Quarry in western Farbane Woods.
Jade the Vampire Hunter is found roaming the roads in Dunley Farmlands. She’s a deadly foe, so it’s best to come to the fight prepared with a solid build and some high-quality blood.

What are explosives used for in V Rising?
In V Rising, players use explosives to raid castles and destroy objects like resource nodes and barricades. Along with a Siege Golem Stone, which is made at a Gem Cutting Table to summon a Golem, explosives can also be used to successfully blow open the doors and walls of another player’s base. You will need two Major and one Minor Explosive Box to destroy a door.
Differences between Minor and Major Explosives
The main differences between Minor and Major Explosives in V Rising are the cost to make them and the amount of damage they deal. Major Explosives deal twice as much damage to Minor Explosives, but they cost more to make.
