Total War Warhammer 3 Immortal Empires is one of the most ambitious military strategy games ever created. With it comes a massive variety of factions and heroes that you can use. Whether you enjoy playing PvP online matches or co-op play, knowing where each faction stacks up on the battlefield is essential. If you own all the DLC and expansions, it can make choosing your favorite faction difficult.
As with all tier lists, this is subjective and based on early feedback from gameplay and the community. As the game gets patched and updated and new metas develop, this tier list will likely change.

Total War: Warhammer 3 Faction Tier List (Immortal Empires Update)
- S-Tier: Vampire Counts, Warriors of Chaos, Nurgle, Slaanesh, Lizardmen
- A-Tier: Tomb Kings, Khorne, Tzeentch, Kislev,
- B-Tier: Greenskins, Empire, Skaven, Beastmen, Demons of Chaos, Dark Elves, Ogre Kingdoms
- C-Tier: Bretonnia, Vampire Coast, High Elves, Wood Elves
- D-Tier: Dwarfs, Grand Cathay, Norsca
Easy PvE Starting Locations and Victory Conditions
Unlike our PvP tier list, PvE tier lists are a bit harder to create. With over 80 Legendary Heroes and over 20 different factions, making that large of a list unhelpful. For that reason, we’re condensing the list into a few factions that have fairly easy starting positions strategically, as well as simple victory conditions.
You should be able to defeat the campaign mode in under 60 turns for many of the following factions.
Here are the factions with easy PvE starting locations and victory conditions:
- Greenskins: Grom the Paunch (Broken Axe)
- Skaven: Tretch Craventail (Clan Rictus)
- High Elves: Alarielle the Radiant (Averlorn)
- Warriors of Chaos: Be’lakor (Shadow Legion)
- Khorne: Skarbrand the Exiled (Exiles of Khorne)
- Beastmen: Taurox the Brass Bull (Slaughterhorn Tribe)
- Vampire Counts: Vlad von Carstein (Sylvania)
