If you’re first starting out in the world of WILD HEARTS, you’ll need to learn the basics. One of your first missions in the tutorial is the unblock dragon pits so you can conjure dragon karakuri and nurse the injured stranger back to health. You may be confused when you see a message saying, “The Dragon Pit Isn’t Powerful Enough.” Here’s a quick rundown of what you need to do in this situation.
How to Unblock Dragon Pits to Conjure Dragon Karakuri
To unblock the Dragon Pit, simply walk over to it and interact with it. Choose the Giant Tree Trunk Camp and select and hold the corresponding button to unblock the Pit. By unblocking dragon pits, you can increase the capacity of the Dragon Pit in the surrounding area.
Conjuring dragon karakuri drains energy from the Dragon Pit in the area. Once you unblock them, you need to enlarge the Dragon Pits using crystals to increase their capacity.
After unblocking the Pit, you will need to conjure a campfire and a hunter’s tent and draw some healing water. Right-click, scroll up on your mouse wheel, and place a campfire and hunter’s tent anywhere near the Dragon Pit. You can sort through the different karakuri with Q and E, if you’re playing on mouse and keyboard.
After that’s done, walk over to the ancient tree to draw some water. Then, walk over to the injured woman and look after her. Your first hunt will begin shortly thereafter, but that’s everything you need to know to unblock Dragon Pits so you can get started with the story.
