The Dark and Darker holiday playtest ended, but the developers have announced another playtest for February during the Steam Next Fest.
Did you enjoy the slow and methodical dungeon-crawling experience in the third Dark and Darker playtest? Players fiending for some more will get an opportunity to play, but they may have to wait till next year. Here’s what you need to know.
Dark and Darker Playtest Dates, February 2023
Over 1 million testers jumped into December 2022 playtest, enabling the developers to uncover new bugs and enhance the game in preparation for the next test. The next Dark and Darker playtest will occur on February 6 to February 13, 2023. The initial three playtests were so successful that the developers, IRONMACE, extended the duration of the third test another four days.
What is Dark and Darker?
Dark and Darker is a PvP, PvE first-person dungeon crawler where players can team up with friends online to take on the dangers of dark catacombs while defending against other adventurers keen on stealing their loot.
The game is currently undergoing different testing phases and is slated for a planned release in Q4 2023.
