There are tons of sea creatures and underwater resources to procure from the Blue Hole in Dave the Diver. However, sometimes you’ll get a request for a high-quality fish that needs to be caught alive. After all, when you have VIP guests to feed, the chef will have some requirements to ensure the highest quality ingredients.
For one of your first VIP missions, Gourmet Vincent’s Challenge, players must catch a particular jellyfish alive and procure a few Sea Grapes. In this guide, we’ll explain how to catch a White Spotted Jellyfish in Dave the Diver.
How to Catch White Spotted Jellyfish in Dave the Diver
To catch the White Spotted Jellyfish, you’ll need a Net Gun, Tranquilizer Gun, or Hush Dart. It is not possible to straight-up harpoon them with the normal Harpoon Gun. Remember, you need this one alive, so this is the only way to go about it.
If you’re using the Net Gun, shoot at the Jellyfish and then swim over to it and capture it while netted. If you’re using the Hush Dart or Tranquilizer Gun, fire a shot and wait for the Jellyfish to fall asleep. It will have some Z’s floating over its head for a brief duration — that’s your opportunity to catch it. You’ll get hurt and lose some oxygen if you run into the Jellyfish while it’s not sleeping.
As for where to find the White Spotted Jellyfish in Dave the Diver, you can find it about 100 meters down in the ocean near the Limestone Cave. You’ll need to catch a few of these White Spotted Jellyfish for the second VIP mission, where Vincent comes to visit. Make sure you also grab a few Sea Grapes, as they can be found in the same location (Limestone Cave).
