Forspoken Trailer

The one-minute Forspoken cinematic trailer showcases some of the amazing graphics and fluid animations of Square Enix’s Luminous Engine, a newly emerging competitor of the widely-used Unreal Engine. If the face in the trailer feels familiar, it’s probably because you recognize the star playing Frey, Ella Balinska, star of the Netflix series Resident Evil.

While the cinematic trailer does not show actual in-game gameplay, it does depict some of the enemies and abilities players will see in the game.

If you’ve just heard about the game, you can rest assured that it’s in good hands. Luminous Productions is a Japanese subsidiary of Square Enix, and many of the employees originally worked on Final Fantasy XV

Whether the game will live up to the hype is yet to be seen, but we’re really looking forward to finding out.

Gamers can get Forspoken on the PlayStation Store for PS5 or Steam for PC.
