Prestige is a well-known mechanic in many FPS games. Prestige is typically reserved for gamers who invested a lot of time in a game, reaching above the max level to enter into a new phase of play, where all of their items and stats get reset for a more difficult challenge. In Marauders, Prestige is no different and occurs after a player hits level 40. Here’s a full outline of how to get Prestige Points in Marauders and what you can use them for.
How to get Prestige Points in Marauders
To get Prestige Points in Marauders, level up to level 40, then trade in your levels and experience for a Prestige Token by clicking the Prestige Available button in the top right of your home screen. You can use Prestige Tokens to get an additional ship slot, unlock more inventory space, or get special skins.
Each time you Prestige, you’ll lose your inventory and ships, crafting unlocks, experience, levels, and skill points. Your cash will also be wiped back to $20,000.
See below for a more in-depth description of what you can get for Prestige Points and Prestige Tokens.

Unlock Additional Ship Slots
The most obvious place to spend your Prestige Tokens is to save them for ship slots. As you get into the game and want a better ship than your trusted Rustbucket, you can unlock additional spaces in your Hangar. Click the + sign to add additional slots in your Hangar.
- 5 Prestige Tokens: 1 extra ship slot
- 10 Prestige Tokens: 1 extra ship slot
- 20 Prestige Tokens: 1 extra ship slot
Unlock Additional Inventory Space
The second most useful thing to using Prestige Points/Tokens is more inventory space. As you loot in Marauders, you’ll quickly find out that your inventory will fill up rather quickly. A good solution is to use Prestige Tokens on additional space. Click the + Sign to unlock additional slots in your Gear tab.
- 1 Prestige Token: 2 Extra Inventory Rows
- 2 Prestige Tokens: 2 Extra Inventory Rows
- 3 Prestige Tokens: 2 Extra Inventory Rows
- 4 Prestige Tokens: 2 Extra Inventory Rows
Unlock SAS Special Forces Pressure Suit Skin
The last and probably least useful thing you can unlock is the SAS Special Forces Pressure Suit. At 1 Prestige Token for the base skin, you’ll probably only want to get this to flex on your enemy.
And there you have it! You now know what you need to know about Prestige Points in Marauders.
