Smalland: Survive the Wilds’ Giant’s Fall update introduced a new resource called Pyrite. The resource is one of the higher-tier materials players can harvest in the game and is used to craft high-tier armor. However, it’s also capable of crafting a Pyrite sword, but the scroll for the recipe is a bit hidden. Here’s how you can craft a Pyrite Greatsword in Smalland: Survive the Wilds.
How to Craft a Pyrite Greatsword in Smalland
The Pyrite Greatsword can be crafted at the Forge after obtaining the Pyrite Greatsword recipe. To find the recipe, explore the caves in the southeast portion of the map, next to Teodrik, and investigate the Workbench at the abandoned encampment inside the cavern.
To get to the recipe location, walk up to the top floor of Teodrik’s library, then walk into the dark cavern and over the plank. Use a flying mount to go down to the ground floor and turn left. The abandoned encampment will be to your left, with a plank of wood leading up to it.
Players must interact at the Workbench and then go through the dialogue menus to finally unlock the Pyrite Sword. A ground path is also available to the right of the cavern, overlooking a sheer ledge that leads into the ocean.
The Pyrite Greatsword can be crafted at the Forge using these materials:
- Pyrite x5
- Textile Patch x2
- Iron Ingot x10
- Refined Wood x2
