How to Upgrade Golems in Minecraft Legends

If you want to overwhelm the enemy, you’ll need better units. Here’s how to upgrade Golems in Minecraft Legends

When players first start a game in Minecraft Legends, they have access to Cobblestone Golems and Plank Golems, but there are much more powerful options at your disposal, including Creepers and Warriors. If you want to have a better army composition in versus mode, you’ll need to unlock these higher-tier units. Here’s how to upgrade Golems in Minecraft Legends.

How to Upgrade Golems in Minecraft Legends

To upgrade your Golems in Minecraft Legends, construct Gather resource improvements, which can be found in your songbook’s Improvements and Host Melodies tab. Each new resource will unlock the ability to build a spawner for a new unit. For instance, constructing the Improvement: Gather Iron will enable you to spawn Grindstone and Mossy Golems.

To spawn these units, use your allays to collect the new resource, then construct a Spawner building for the upgraded unit you want to generate. If you are having trouble finding said material, navigate to your Overworld map and hover over a region to see which resource spawns there.

To build Improvement buildings, players will need to get Prismarine, which can be found by destroying piglin buildings across the map. They will also need an Improvement Hub so they can build the new resource Improvement.

In campaign mode, you’ll gain access to new buildings and units over time by playing through the campaign, so don’t be confused if all the units aren’t at your disposal at first.

When you find the resource, it will look exactly like the icon in your songbook — so it won’t be too hard to find. For resources, look at rocky areas, as those usually have a few nodes around them.
