Gamescom 2022 had dozens of world premieres and announcements for many exciting upcoming gaming titles. One title we’re especially excited for is Marauders, a dieselpunk sci-fi extraction shooter by Small Impact Games and Team17. As of today, we finally have some more information about when the next iteration of the game will be playable. Here’s what we know about the Marauders release date.
What is the Marauders Release Date?
Marauders enters early access in October 2022. The official full release date is yet to be announced.

What is Marauders?
Marauders is a tactical first-person multiplayer looter shooter set in space. Players take on the role of a space pirate as they explore a hostile battleground for new weapons, gear, and salvageable materials and loot. Join in on the action solo or with a squad of up to three players. Use your resourcefulness to bolster your loadout and build a faster, more powerful ship to increase your odds of survival.
Players can explore for loot and craft it themselves. Buy and sell valuable gear back at base, and use it to gear up you and your squad before venturing out and putting it all on the line. Raid deep-space colonies, space stations, asteroid mines, and other areas of interest to see what’s out there.
Many players draw comparisons between Marauders and Escape From Tarkov. While there are many similarities, Marauders is still a unique experience. One notable difference is the dual-extraction, where you need to extract from the raid to your ship and then again to a warp gate to get back to your base. Ship customization, of course, also adds some more depth to the game.
Indeed, while there are comparisons that can be drawn between Marauders and other games, it’s still unique enough to get excited for the beta and release.
