During a trainer’s battles out in the Paldea region in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, they will begin to notice that they receive different materials each time they defeat Pokemon. While there are certainly lots of materials for trainers to collect, they all serve a similar purpose.
These materials are used to craft TMs at a TM Machine, available at any Pokemon Center scattered throughout the region. The TM Machine can be used to craft any TMs that the player has previously learned, but it will require specific Pokemon materials. One of these materials is Sinistea Chips–a valuable item from Sinistea. But where are Sinistea Chips in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Read on to find out.
Where to Get Sinistea Chips in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Sinistea is a cute floating teacup Pokemon that, according to the Pokedex entry, can be found nearby towns and ruins. While this is not the most descriptive explanation of where to find it, Sinistea can only be found in two locations in the game: South Province (Area Six) or East Province (Area Three).
Trainers looking to find the most Sinisteas for farming purposes will be better suited to finding them in the various ruins while exploring at night. Each defeated Sinistea will net players between 1-2 Sinistea Chips.
In addition to using these materials to craft TMs, Pokemon Violet players can trade 10 of their Sinistea Chips to the NPC in Zapapico. Making this trade will grant them a Malicious Armor, which can be given to Charcadet to evolve it into Ceruledge.
With enough careful exploration and patience, players can easily have enough Sinistea Chips for crafting and evolving their Charcadet.
