If you’re looking to upgrade your digs from stone to something a little better in Smalland, you’ll need to unlock Metal building pieces.
A good structure is dictated by the materials it’s constructed with. This applies to real life and the miniature survival game on PC, Smalland: Survive the Wilds. If you’re done with wood, moved on to stone, and are now looking to make your royal palace from metal, you’ll first need to unlock Metal building pieces. If you have no idea how to do that, keep reading.
How to Unlock Metal Building Pieces in Smalland
To unlock the ability to construct your house with metal, visit the Merchant, select “Can I see what you have to sell?” and then purchase Schematic: Metal Parts. Once the schematic is in your inventory, right-click it to gain the ability to construct metal structures.
To purchase Schematic: Metal Parts, you’ll need to purchase Hoots from the Merchant, which requires Pyrite. To buy 10 Hoots, you’ll need 20 Pyrite, which can be mined from the caves where you found Teodrik.
In totality, the Merchant in Smalland sells the following items:
- Hoots x10
- Hoots x2
- Schematic: Metal Parts
- Schematic: Vines
- Schematic: Flowers
Players will need to collect Clay Mortar, Iron Shards, and Pyrite to build metal structures.
