Spooky season is here, and Valve is celebrating the season with Steam Scream Fest, a Halloween-themed event scheduled to hit the storefront in late October. Here’s everything you need to know about the Steam Halloween Sale, including the start time and details.
When is the Steam Halloween Sale?
The Steam Halloween sale begins on October 25 at 1 p.m. EST and ends on November 1 at 1 p.m. EST.
The Steam Scream Fest features various game discounts, demos, new releases, and in-game events with a spooky and festive theme. Developers and publishers with Halloween-themed games and live-service events have the opportunity to participate in the event by registering on the Steam page.
Gamers can expect discounts and demos on current and upcoming games, especially those with the following tags:
- Horror
- Survival Horror
- Vampires
- Werewolves
- Supernatural
- Dark Fantasy
- Lovecraftian
Some popular games in these categories include V Rising, Vampire Survivors, Dead by Daylight, Phasmophobia, The Mortuary Assistant, The Forest, and Ghostwire: Tokyo, to name a few. That’s not to mention upcoming games in these genres for which we’ve yet to see demos.
