How to Get the Space Pirate Pack in Marauders (Pre-Order Bonus)
To get the Space Pirate Pack in Marauders, click the Appearance tab at the top of the screen. Then, select Body and Head and scroll down to the very bottom. Select the Space Pirate gear and click the Unlock button to redeem the gear. The Space Pirate Pack costs $1 and has a 0 level requirement.
The Space Pirate Pack comes with the Space Pirate Set: Head and Space Pirate Set: Chest. Make sure to snag both, as they are free skins and look pretty cool.
What’s the Point of Skins in Marauders?
Like most games, choosing a unique skin can add some of your personality to the character you’re playing in the game. Are you the dark and brooding type or the colorful and social type? In Marauders, however, it goes deeper than that.
For one, with a limited HUD, you may want to select skins that blend in better with the environment. If you’re the type to hide and attack at the most opportune moment, you’ll want to blend into your surroundings.
Perhaps more important, if you’re playing with a crew, having special skins in Marauders enables you to differentiate your teammates from NPCs and other players. This can be critical since, as mentioned above, there is a limited HUD and very little indication of who other players are.
