If you missed the Marauders Dev Blog 3 and are wondering what’s coming up for the space extraction game, we’ve got you covered with all of the updates and details upcoming in the game.
Marauders, the indie extraction game that puts players in the center of space to loot, destroy, and breach, is getting a huge overhaul via a new upcoming update. Here’s what you missed during the Marauders Dev Blog 3.
United Allies Space Battalion
Brand new soldiers from the U.A are coming in the form of new Guards and Commanders. Take a look at some of the new United Allies threads below.
Colony Cruiser
The Colony Cruiser is a new Merchant Ship-like raid that flies around. Unlike the Merchant Ship, the Colony Cruiser has some pretty serious defenses in the form of turrets. Also, unlike the Merchant Ship, the Colony Cruiser can be accessed in two ways — via breaching or docking.
Added Grenades
In addition to introducing grenades into the next update, the developers are also working on developing variants to the standard nade, including a new sticky grenade that will come out in a future patch. While they won’t be included in the next update, the developers are fine-tuning the different aspects of the variants.
Mini-Mine Area
Breach-only locations are smaller sub-levels that will exist on the raid. As the name suggests, you’ll need to hop into your Breach Pod to hop into the raid.
Addition of Grenade Launchers
The developers are also introducing Grenade Launchers, including the new M79 Grenade Launcher, a smaller hand-held launcher, and the China Lake, a pump action grenade launcher. They are fully aware of the overpowered possibilities adding this gun type into the game could potentially create, so they are being careful with its implementation.
