Gamers that are fans of extraction shooters are in for a treat as developers Small Impact Games and publishers Team17 are finally releasing Marauders into Early Access on Steam. Here’s what you need to know about the Marauders release date, trailer, and details.
Marauders Release Date
Marauders releases on October 3, 2022, for PC, at 12:30 p.m. EDT, officially announced by Marauder’s Twitter. Once released, it will become available for anyone to purchase on the Steam store. If you preorder the game, you can play it as early as September 30, 2022.
Marauders Trailer: Dieselpunk Meets WWII in Space
Marauders is a first-person looter shooter set in space where your goal is to take out both NPCs and other human-controller characters for their loot. Like other games in the genre, when you die in Marauders, you lose all your loot.
The game’s concept is similar to other extraction shooter games, where you launch into a raid, kill other human players and NPCs for loot, then extract and repeat the process while stuffing your coffers filled to the brim with items.

Is Marauders Worth Playing?
While other games in the genre can sometimes feel agonizing and slow, Marauders maintains a fast pace, all set inside a unique dystopian future that the game can call its own.
While the gunplay is constantly improving, the game’s setting, concepts, and themes make it feel unique and like a solid entry in the raid genre. Additionally, with the ability to actually breach into other players’ ships, Marauders managers to accomplish what many other space-exploration and raid games fail to, by creating a constant sense of dread and immersion that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
Marauders can be played in parties of up to 4, so if you prefer to play your PvP games in teams, you’ll be allowed group up with friends online.
