Poppea Pecorina is one of 25 total characters in Vampire Survivors, and she’s the first with a stage-specific unlock requirement. She is one of four characters unlocked by finding a coffin, with the other two being Pugnala Provola, Giovanna Grana, and Concetta Caciotta. Coincidentally, all four of these characters’ names reference Italian cheeses.
How to unlock Poppea in Vampire Survivors
To unlock Poppea Pecorina in Vampire Survivors, you must locate her coffin on the Dairy Plant level. The coffin is far southeast of the starting area and surrounded by Giant Armored Knights. An arrow will guide you to the coffin as you get closer.
After unlocking Poppea Pecorina by finding her coffin, you’ll need to purchase her on the Character Selection screen for 2400 Gold Coins.
What are Poppea Pecorina’s passive bonuses in Vampire Survivor?
Poppea gains +1% Duration every level, and there is no level cap, meaning this can stack to level 99. Poppea also gains +20% Movespeed as a starting bonus.
What is Poppea Pecorina’s starting weapon in Vampire Survivors?
Poppea’s starting weapon is the Song of Mana, which attacks vertically and passes through enemies. The weapon caps out at level eight and has the following attributes per level:
- Base
- The base area increases by 100%.
- The cooldown increased by 0.8 seconds. The effect lasts 0.5 seconds longer.
- Base damage up by 10. The base area increases by 25%.
- The cooldown increases by 0.8 seconds. The effect lasts 0.5 seconds longer.
- Base damage up by 10. The base area increases by 25%.
- The cooldown increases by 0.8 seconds. The effect lasts 0.5 seconds longer.
- Base damage up by 10. The base area increases by 25%.
The Song of Mana is not affected by Amount and Speed bonuses. Area, Duration, and Cooldown affect Song of Mana, making Spellbinder, Empty Tome, and Candelabrador good items to synergize with this weapon.
Survive for 15 minutes with Poppea Pecorina to permanently unlock the Song of Mana.
