Across the Obelisk: How to Unlock Nezglekt

Across the Obelisk is a coop deckbuilding roguelite RPG where players go on an adventure solo or with up to three other friends and try to make their way through all the acts. There are 12 unlockable heroes in Across the Obelisk, and our series of guides will help you unlock all of them. In this guide, we’ll take a look at how to unlock Nezglekt, a Dark priest that does a ton of Mind damage and stacks Insane and Sight.

How to Unlock Nezglekt in Across the Obelisk

To unlock Nezglekt in Across the Obelisk, follow these steps:

Go to the Riverside Camp in Act 1 to get to the Stargazer
Choose the option Ask to do a fast divination
Defeat Act 1 and proceed through the Red Portal
Navigate to the Campsite to start the Express delivery quest
Select a hero to carry the heavy package
Continue to Act 4 and visit the Airship to deliver the package

Unlocking Nezglekt is one of the tougher challenges in Across the Obelisk, as you will need to be able to make your way to Act 4 comfortably. You’ll need to head to the Riverside Camp to visit the Stargazer. If you do not see this area, restart your run until you do.

Once at the Stargazer, ask to do a Divination or pay him 300 gold for a basic Divination. Either one works fine. Next, defeat the boss at the end of Act 1 and proceed through the Red Portal. In the Red Portal, head to the Campsite to begin the Express Delivery quest. Select any of your characters to hold the heavy package (they will get -3 Speed). It’s considered an item, and you cannot replace it until you complete the quest.

Continue your journey until you get to Act 4. Once in Act 4, visit the Airship at the bottom right of the map. Tsnemo’s merchant ship is where you can deliver the heavy package from the previous quest. After delivering the package, you’ll unlock Nezglekt and gain access to a special shop.

After unlocking the Nezglekt by delivering the package, you can continue on your journey to finish out the run, or go into combat and resign to start testing out the new hero.

About Nezglekt

Nezglekt is a sort of Dark priest-style character specializing in Mind damage, stacking Insane, and gaining Sight into the enemies’ next moves. It also starts with a couple of Curative Therapy cards that can come in clutch with some healing. The hero also has a lot of Discard abilities and Curse removal.
