Across the Obelisk is a coop deckbuilding roguelite RPG where players go on an adventure solo or with up to three other friends and try to make their way through all the acts. There are 12 unlockable heroes in Across the Obelisk, and our series of guides will help you unlock all of them. In this guide, we’ll take a look at how to unlock Bree, a Tank that specializes in stacking thorns and buffing allies.
How to Unlock Bree in Across the Obelisk
To unlock Bree in Across the Obelisk, follow these steps:
- Complete Act 1 and navigate through the Blue portal
- Navigate to the Grove area at the top of the map and accept the quest
- Progress through Act 3 and get to Act 4
- Go to the Garden in Act 4 and plant the seed to unlock Bree
Bree is a character that takes a while to unlock, so be prepared to invest over an hour on this run. To start, get through Act 1 and then go through the Blue portal. In the Blue area, make your way to the Grove and accept the quest to protect the seed and find a good place to plant it.
Once you’ve accepted the question, you must beat Act 3 and make your way to Act 4. Once in Act 4, at the upper level, make your way to the Garden.
At the Garden, select the Dig option to dig a small hole in the fertile soil and plant Ylmer’s seed. After planting the seed, you will have successfully unlocked Bree!
About Bree
Bree is a tactical warrior that specializes in thorns. She has the Spiky innate, which gives her 5 Thorns at the start of every combat. She also starts with the Forest Banner item, which grants 1 Fast at the start of combat (+2 Speed).
As for Perks, we recommend investing 25 perks in General and 25 in Physical. For the General tab, focus on Health, Armor, and Energy for maximum tankiness. For the Physical tab, grab Thorns and put all the points you can into Block and Fortify.
