In Zero Sievert, there are a ton of different types and calibers of ammunition that can make even reloading a gun confusing. Each weapon type holds different ammo, from .357 Magnum to shotgun slugs to 9x18MM ammo. If you are confused by all the different types of ammunition in Zero Sievert, keep reading.
If you want to save some Rubles, crafting ammo is a great alternative to buying it at the vendor. You can scrap other ammo types you don’t typically use, then use additional materials to craft the ammo you need for your primary and secondary weapons. Zero Sievert Ammo Types
Each ammunition type has a different attribute that makes it different from the other variations. For instance, a gun can take 5.45x39MM rounds but have several variations, including HP, BT, and Subsonic. These various rounds can be loaded into your firearm with the Y key, and each has different statistics that make them more or less effective.
Here are a few common ammunition types in Zero Sievert:
- AP: Armor-piercing bullets reduce damage but have a high armor penetration.
- BT: Boat-tailed reduces damage and accuracy but packs a higher penetration value.
- HP: Hollow-point rounds destroy unarmored targets.
- Subsonic: Subsonic bullets have poor armor penetration but very low recoil.
- PS: Pulya Stalnaya, aka the “Steel Bullet,” is a standard type of ammo.

How to Craft Ammo in Zero Sievert
To craft ammo in Zero Sievert, install the Ammo Building Kit Module. Then interact with your Crafting Bench and click Ammunition on the left side of the screen. You can view the Required items for each type of ammo and the ammo’s unique stats.
You will need to collect the following materials to build an Ammo Building Kit Module:
- 300 Scrap Ammo
- 40 Scrap Material
- 25 Screw Nut
- 25 Nails
- 15 Charcoal
- 4 Metal Pipe
- 1 Hammer
- 1 Screwdriver
- 1 Duct Tape
That’s all you need to know in Zero Sievert. The biggest thing to keep in mind is how much ammo you need. Since ammo has an associated inventory weight and is considerably expensive until you can craft your own, you should try to purchase just what you need rather than going overboard.
